The Avengers - All Good Things - Grant McLaughlin

Page 9

1 – Natasha, the Hulk, and Clint stand amidst a huge group of downed and defeated clock monsters. It was probably a pretty brutal fight. They certainly look the worse for wear for it all, looking pretty tired and beat up.

BLACK WIDOW: Did you seriously never put that helmet on?

HAWKEYE: What, and hide my beautiful face?

2 – Captain American, Iron Man, and Thor are getting out of a limo in the driveway up to Avengers Mansion. The fight must have been quite the humdinger, because the Mansion is also definitely the worse for wear. While this isn't the first time the place has been completely wrecked, that doesn't change the fact that it is pretty much a write-off at this point. Tony holds his head in his hand, Thor is a little surprised, and Steve is resigned to this state of affairs. Also: they are all still wearing their bathing suits below their regular tops.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: I guess I should have seen this coming.

3 – Loki stands before his wall of clocks. Or more accurately, the wall where his clocks used to be. Most of them have been ripped from the wall and are strewn across the room. Loki is sitting on a chair, pouting.

LOKI: I hate wasting my time!

4 – Nick Fury is back at the control room. He wears a smile on his face. The SHIELD Agent from the first page is nearby, waiting with a clipboard full of status reports.

NICK FURY: What did I miss?

Aaaand scene!  There we have it, folks, my Avengers story is at an end.  It was at times a little off-topic, a little rushed, but I'm pretty pleased with it all.  At the same time, I'm also excited to jump back into the done-in-one one-pagers that we normally have on offer here.  Until next week!
