1. A
close up of Otto/Peter from the chest up.
He is staring at something on the table in front of him, but it is off
panel so we cannot see it.
CAPTION (OTTO/PETER)
All of Peter’s powers.
His past. His life.
2. A
closer panel showing Otto/Peter smirking triumphantly. He is still concentrating on what is in front
of him, yet we can still not see it.
CAPTION (OTTO/PETER)
Hmmm…Gwen and Peter went swimming. I’ll look into that memory later.
Of all that I have inherited from Parker there is one
thing I enjoy the most.
3. A
wide shot so we can see what is in fact on Otto/Peter’s table. It is a smorgasbord of food – fried,
chocolate, pizza – all the bad stuff. Otto/Peter is delving into the food as if he had been starving for a week.
CAPTION (OTTO/PARKER)
His amazing metabolism.
Haha. I wasn't sure where this page was going but that last panel lends it a nice, light touch.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Ben. And thanks for bringing the Superior one to the table!
ReplyDeleteLike Dan I was unsure where you might take this page, but your choice is bang on. Its light and fun and fits in neatly with both Parker and Otto. I also liked the little nod to the old series with the final caption reading amazing. That word just goes hand in hand with Spider-man now.
ReplyDeleteI always like it when comic-books play with superpowers in unique ways. After months of Doc Ock being on deaths doors and the ULTIMATE VILLAIN, it's nice seeing someone actually show a levity to the character.
ReplyDeleteI mean, who wouldn't pig out. He knows Peter will eventually get the body back, so worst case scenario is he forces Peter to put on a few pounds via extreme eating.
...
You're totally going to steal that now. Curses!
Haha. Well played, Mr. Rosenthal. Well played.
