CAPTION THE ESCAPIST:
Sometimes you have nowhere to escape to.
Short, but sweet. And damn stylish; it flows really well, and despite the lack of copy, would make a heckuva Frank Miller b&w "a la Sin City" type of page. Cool as a mountain lake, Shaun.
ReplyDeleteI dug the upside down imagery at the start. A way to go with it might have been to have the imagery flip in the last panel and then hit it with the caption. Visually the stars and the city look pretty similar. Hence, nowhere to escape to.
ReplyDeleteGreat intro page. I also like Dan's idea of flipping the last panel.
