  1. INTERIOR. TENANT BUILDING. FLOOR SIX

    (FULL PAGE PANEL)

Logan, bleeding profusely from the face, chest and back, holding up a small teddy bear to a happily confused SIX YEAR OLD GIRL. Her parents stand above her, disgusted by Logan's condition.

    He barely looks alive.

His other hand is wrapped around the neck of a HAND SOLDIER, who is trying (without success) to get away. He's also bleeding heavily.

LOGAN: The Hand is sorry they stole your teddy bear, kid.

    1. Nice central comedic visual.

It kinda plays on that whole Wolverine as father/elder brother notion too.

    2. Really strong splash page. Like Brian said its very impressive to tell such a complete story in one image. Logan's one piece of dialogue is also very fitting for the character.

This reminded me of the final scene in Con Air as well. No bad thing!

  3. Panel 1
Close-up of a mug of beer.

CAPTION: I've fought a lotta fights...
CAPTION: ...survived a lotta crazy situations...

    Panel 2
Zoom out a bit. We see a hairy hand (Logan's) clutching the mug.

    CAPTION: ...but this...

    Panel 3
We see Logan's mouth and the mug as he drinks the beer.

CAPTION: This has always been the hardest part o' livin'...
CAPTION: In between all the craziness, when I have too much time to myself...

    Panel 4
Zoom out bit more. We see up to the lower-half of Logan's face. He is wearing civilian clothes. He has just put his mug back down into the counter. We are in a bar/pub.

CAPTION: Too much time ta think...
CAPTION: At least the beer helps...

    1. Nice page Arby. I like how much you've slowed time down to emphasize his discomfort with himself.
