LEGO - Stuck - Niel Jacoby

Panel 1: Lego Batman is chasing Lego Joker through his lair.

Joker: HAHAHAHAHA, CAPED CHUMP! YOU'RE NOT CATCHING THE CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME THIS EASILY!

Panel 2: Close on Lego Batman, as he smirks in triumph.

Batman: OH YEAH? ROBIN! ACTIVATE THE BAT-ADHESIVE!

Panel 3: Robin pops out from behind a statue of Joker, and spurts a decidedly non-Lego superglue in Joker's path.

Joker: SUFFERIN' PSYCHOPATHS! I'M RUINED!

Panel 4: Batman and Robin stand with Commissioner Gordon as Joker tries in vain to move.

Gordon: YOU'VE DONE WELL, BATMAN, BUT WE CAN'T SEEM TO GET JOKER UNSTUCK SO WE CAN LOAD HIM INTO THE JAIL WAGON.

Inset panel: Batman deep in thought.

Batman: I MAY JUST HAVE AN IDEA...

Panel 5: A police helicpter begins to lift the segment of Joker's lair that he is superglued to, with Lego bars placed around him. Joker is ticked.

Caption: AND YET AGAIN, THE DAY IS SAVED BY THE WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE!

  1. The whole thing is just gleefully playful. This is the kind of thing that would get a young kid to become a new comic reader in a heartbeat. You really tap in to that child's mindset of what's fun.
