(9 Panels)
Panel 1: An anti-Trumper (for simplicities sake,
let’s call him STEVE) is angry about something.
STEVE (1): Donald Trump?
STEVE (2): Bah, his campaign is already as good as dead
already.
Panel 2: STEVE is annoyed as he hears a report from a
nearby TV.
TV: Donald Trump has moved to the front of the Republican
Primary race!
Panel 3: STEVE is annoyed, more so than in PANEL 1.
STEVE (1): Whatever. It’s only temporary.
STEVE (2): He’ll be out in no time.
Panel 4: STEVE is further annoyed at the TV again.
TV: This just in - Donald Trump is now the official
Republican Nominee for President!
Panel 5: STEVE is visibly upset.
STEVE (1): Trump will never be President.
STEVE (2): There is absolutely no way a guy like him could
ever get elected!
Panel 6: STEVE fumes at the TV.
TV (1): Breaking news!
TV (2): Donald Trump has just been elected President of the
United States!
Panel 7: STEVE has a malevolent and mischievous grin
on his face.
STEVE: Donald Trump is sure to be immortal and never die!
Panel 8: STEVE looks to the TV, ready to celebrate.
TV (1): This just in!
TV (2): Donald Trump has just dropped dead…
Panel 9: Follow up cut from PANEL 8. STEVE is noticeably
upset from being thwarted again.
TV: …weight off his body! Tune in next to see the amazing
new physique he’s now sporting!

A nice little call and response piece, with the TV's answers being well-timed and placed. That said, I think the script could potentially be a little tighter and more concise, and some of the dialogue may have benefited from another pass ("his campaign is already as good as dead already," for example).
